Sarah Scheid
Owner/Therapist, LPC, PMH-C (She/Her)
Sarah Scheid is the owner of Peaks Counseling, LLC. She has been a therapist for over 12 years and enjoys working with a variety of individuals. Sarah has experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-based practices, play therapy, and works with children, teens, and adults. Most areas of focus include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral struggles, social and relational concerns, life transitions, perinatal/postpartum support, and general life stressors. Karis Lambert
Therapist, LPC, PMH-C (She/Her)
Karis specializes in working with adults and teens struggling with anxiety, eating disorders, maternal mood disorders, body image distress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and life transitions. She is also trained and certified in EMDR, which is a modality designed to help individuals heal from emotional distress following traumatic or adverse experiences. She strives to be a person-centered therapist that believes therapy is an extremely personal experience that should be tailored to each person based on their needs, goals, and personal history. Cindy Collinsworth
Therapist, LPC (She/Her)

Cindy has experience working with most ages across the lifespan from ages 5 and up. She blends trauma-informed and person-centered approaches to help you reach your goals.  Cindy is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). She believes in treating individuals holistically and provides a warm, understanding, and collaborative environment for her clients. Thea Pearman
Therapist, LMFT (She/Her)
Thea is a licensed marriage and family therapist and has over 25 years of experience in the counseling field. Thea works with children 7+, adolescents, adults, as well as provides couples counseling Her approach to therapy is both systemic (in relationships and interactional patterns with others) and cognitive-behavioral in nature to help clients navigate to a more peaceful place in life. Thea supports clients in struggles around anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, ADHD, communication, mood management, behavioral struggles, and many other areas. Dan Brown
Therapist, LPC (He/Him)
Dan Brown is a licensed professional counselor specializing in working with teens and young adults. He has been working with teens and young adults as an LPC for over 2 years, and previously worked with teens and young adults as a mentor, parkour coach, and youth leader. His areas of focus include anxiety, depression, loneliness, and grief, PTSD, perfectionism, social struggles, and school related difficulties. Rachel Wirtanen
Therapist, LCSW (She/Her)
Rachel has extensive experience working with diverse populations with a focus on complex PTSD and co-occurring diagnoses, general life stressors, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, coping with addictions, family conflicts, trauma, and abuse. She works with late school aged children, teens, and adults. Rachel incorporates CBT, DBT, mindfulness, art, nature based, and/or spiritual practices into her sessions. Jessica Oshier
Therapist, LPC (She/Her)
Jessica has over 15 years in the counseling field and has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addictions, self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues, grief, spirituality, life purpose, and more. She has specialty training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (a holistic approach to resolving trauma), Gestalt Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Meditation and Mindfulness, spirituality, and addictions counseling. Goose
Therapy Dog in Training
Goose is our soon to be certified therapy dog and we are so excited to have him as part of the practice! He is almost 4 years old, has a playful personality (but he knows when to be serious too), and his expertise is in snuggles! He is currently training through Dog Training Elite Denver and should be expected to pass his full exam towards the fall of 2024. In the meantime, you may see him around the office from time to time as he gets closer to completing his training.
