Hello! I’m Laura Seese, LCSW.
Reaching out for support during times of stress, anxiety, or uncertainty can feel overwhelming. In fact, taking that first step is often one of the hardest parts of the process. If you’re feeling stuck, discouraged, or simply looking for a safe space to work through life’s challenges, you’re not alone – and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself.
I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), evidence-based therapies that help individuals better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop practical tools to help you manage challenges more effectively and build lasting resilience.
I recognize that every person brings a unique story, set of experiences, and strengths into the therapy room. Because of this, I tailor treatment to meet each client’s individual needs, goals, and circumstances. For children, I often incorporate play therapy and creative interventions, including art-based activities, to help them express emotions, build coping skills, and process experiences in ways that feel natural and developmentally appropriate. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, or simply seeking personal growth, my goal is to support you with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
I believe that healing and growth happen through connection, and that therapy works best when it is a collaborative partnership.
